Carb Is Better Because It Cools The Incoming Air Flow Adding Density.... Fuel Injection If Its Throttle Body Is Much Like Carb'd Applications But Mpi/tpi Injection Systems Are Less Effecient When It Comes To Cooling But Allow More Fine Point Control.

I fail to see how a carb cools the air. A carb is attached to an aluminum intake manifold just the like the fuel injection manifold. In fact, a carb needs to be warmed up to help dissipate the fuel mixture better before it runs as efficently. The fuel injector mists the fuel even when the manifold is cold.
I know the fuel certainly doesn't cool the air. Fuel sets in the fuel bowl inside the warm carburetor before going through the jets.
If you're talking about aftermarket carbs vs. aftermarket fuel injection, the fuel injection will always be able to match or beat the carbs in power. FI will always have more torque given the same top end power, and FI will give better gas milage and cleaner emissions.

Injection affords better driveability in various conditions , hot vs cold , cold starting and performance at hegh altitude and low as well. The computer does the thinking for the driver. All this when the whole mess of sensers and vacume lines are working correctly . Having said that I am running SUs and would never change from the simple systime . It is trouble free and performes vary well. Major plus is I can work on everything and understand it .

I say, stick with what the car has on it. until the FI is too difficult to fix.
if youre building a car from ground up (rolling chassis, build an engine, etc etc etc etc........ you get the idea) its ALOT easier to stick with carburation, and if youre doing all that anyway you can probably cope with the day-to-day stickiness that can arise from carburettors..
