Portable CD player
I do not want a whole CD deck in the car, I saw someone have a portable cd player in the back of their car. I was wondering how they powered it, and what kind of speakers did they use? Was it lould?

Re: Portable CD player
unless you have some sort of amplifier, no it will not be load, and you will difinately not be able to hear it over the road noise. Portable CD players are designed to be used with headphones, which do not need much power at all, so when you put computer speakers (or something like that) on it, it does not go very load. Of course you can get a tape deck, and an adapter for a portable CD player, but you will not be able to get it load enough on its own

Re: Portable CD player
Adapters are available to play portable CD players through your current stereo. The ones that I have seen require a tape deck ot be in the car. The adapter plugs into the deck, allowing the portable CD to play through the speakers in the car. It will be as loud and of equal quality to your current sounds system.
