Radiator Swap

my Z has a really bad problem with overheating, because my radiator has leaks/blockage. My friend has a '58 Biscayne, which has close to/if not the same size radiator in it. He has a brand new radiator that he is not going to use, and wants to give it to me. What should I know before I decide to swap the chevy radiator for my Z radiator? Oh, and his biscayne is automatic, while my Z is stick, are there going to be any outlets to the transmission to cool it that I may need to plug?

You will need to measure the radiator and make sure that it fits first. You may have to drill new holes to mount it. Also measure the inlet and outlet size of the radiator because it may be a different size than yours. You can put a radiator from a automatic car in yours without plugging anything i have a 280z auto radiator in my car with a 5 speed.
