Shoe horn in a VH45DE
I have been reading about this fun piece of gear called a VH45DE. It's a 4.5L V8 Quad Cam 32valve torque monster.
So drag heads over here (australia) use the motor in old holdens (GM company).
Some twin turbo some supercharge. but a stock (no mods at all) 400nm from 1000-5000rpm is lovely in my eyes!!!
A half cut is around $3500AUD (all wiring required). I only don't know how far I need to go with the coversion.
I'm just looking at the options atm. Might talk to a mechanic mate and see his ideas on the matter. (probably tell me not to ask him to help if i do do it).
My beast will be one mad max machine if i do it. Hmmm... maybe I should use a GQ for a base vehicle instead.
Well anyone have ideas or experience in stalling these motors in a L28 machine?
