Well the evo I was chasing seems to say he hit 160, and i was drafting him on the highway during the winter, and it was a long stretch of road on 395i between Reno and Carson, was like 6 miles just straight, next to washoe lake lol.
theres a few cars that can hit 150 that are under 300 net hp, just it takes alot longer.

The lotus EXIGE can hit 145 with less than 200 HP but it is entirely different than the S-30 as far as aerodynamics are concerned.
The S-30s have notoriously BAD aero. The are quite likely to to fly backwards and upside down at speeds over 150 MPH.

^^^ I think he has fallen victim to the speedo/non stock tire issue ^^^

300 hp not quite enough

It has close to 300 HP.
It has generationally better aerodynamics
It is a heavyweight
Given enough of a run.. It can probably do 165 MPH without a limiter.. unless they are talking about rev limit in 5th gear.

I have run my car up to what it said was 137mph with the tach reading 5600 rpm.Now I dont now how far my speedo was off.Cause I have 14-215-60 on my car.So who knows? ita all stock... Oh it has a cold air kit on it.K&N cone filter and some 3 inch duct.2and a half inch exhaust.

The S30 has a top speed rating of 118 mph when it was new.If you want to go faster you have to modify the **** out of it. The biggest hindrance is aero dyamics. A "G" nose or air dam will add 10 mph. The windsheild on the other hand is like a barn door. The car was designed for autocross and it does real good at that and street racing.
BLEACH- in second gear right?
