Has anyone had to replace one of these?? Looks like a real pain in the keester, mines leaking got to do it , any tips wood be helpful. Also where can I buy a new one other than the dealer . Thanks .............Bonz

 

The part is called a water ****. You can get one for about $94 at http://www.zcarparts.com. I changed mine by pulling out the heater/ac blower assembly. Then the A/C evaporator assemby, the radio console and then the heater housing assembly. The coil to the water **** is mounted right into the back of the heater core housing. The whole assembly must come out to get to it. Quite a job. Some people pull the dash to get to it.

 

Got my heater valve at Nissan $98. I had the dash out when I replaced it, it wasn't to bad. Worth changing, the heat actually turns off now, and I have a/c
