280zx White gauge faces and lights

where can i find the 280zx gauge cluster white faces like this:

also, does anyone know where i can get blue light filters, to replace my orange ones on my speedometer/tachometer/temp/fuel/middle cluster?

I'm looking for this end result.

Sorry for terrible quality >.<

There was a guy who had them on ebay once upon a time but i would not recommend changing the faces with over-lays. Replace the whole gauge with a proper, new white unit. I did it and they lasted all of 3 or 4 months before i went back to stock. Looked like this. . .

I believe Bleach still has a un-installed set. If you ask nicely i bet he might sell them to you for an arm or leg as they are NLA

NLA

Too late now. I have a 280ZX again I'm going back to the NA gauges just so I can use this super rare set of gauges. I'll buy separate Autometer oil temp and boost gauges.

I'm so JDM, and I have this sticker to prove it

You too?!

But seriously though Bleach. . .dont waste your time with those overlays. Make some money on'm by selling them on ebay or some *****. The clear vinyl cover on the faces started to bubble and warp after a less than warm summer, there were dark and light spots from poor construction and even with a potentiometer they were obnoxiously bright and caused lots of glare in the car during night driving.

They would work if you were going for a lame, showy look like some have done to these cars with accent lights, tvs and useless large scale vinyl decals with accompanying driver costumes. . . .

wow, thats really cool...i plan on taking my dash all apart and redoing the following all at once..

- new dash
-new radio
- new speakers
- secondary cigarette lighter

and was wondering if i could maybe just swap the bulbs in the gauges to just brite blue?..would that work?..cuz the stock orange lights up pretty good...and where could i find and would it be worth swaping out my stock 85mph speedo with a one that goes to a higher number?

any advice, opinions, or tips would be awesome,..as i havent really dug into the interior of a car before...thanks!!

I still have a set like the ones Apollo posted pics of. I think I put them in storage. Still unused, and in the original envelope.

The overlays that Apollo posted have wires and internal lights. They are not stickers.
