Carpet install question

I bought a carpet kit for my daughter's 79 coup from Z Car Source. It has 4 pieces for the floor and the front sections are a no brainer. The back floor sections are harder to figure. Anyone ever done this or have pictures?

I made my own. I can't imagine what the puzzle with a pre made kit would be though. There are only four pieces when I made mine. Driver and passenger foot well piece, behind the seats around the speakers and the rear cargo area.

Post some pics so we can see what you are talking about....

This is for a 79 280zx
I can't figure out how the two notched pieces fit in the car. Which way to turn them, which side, where does the notch go and how does the front piece overlay the back.
Does the edge of the front piece stop at the brace that runs under the seat?
Also, how does the carpet fit around the foot rest on the drivers side kick panel?
It would be great to get a diagram or pictures.

to get back to your original question, for your kick panel foot rest question, it looks like you have to cut out a little notch in the carpet to make it fit around the foot rest, I have a pic at the bottom to show what it should look like.
as for your brace question, I think you should do whatever looks good, that carpet doesn't look like the factories method, where it would be on big piece of carpet until you hit the area between the seats and the hatch, yours kind of splits right in the middle of the center console, you can see the difference between factory and none factory in my pictures,(my dirty carpet is factory)
and as for the notches, I have no idea what your talking about lol
lucky for you I just so happen to have my seats and stuff out, so I could take great pics.
judging by how old this post is, you probably figured it out by now, but what the hey, maybe it helped someone else.
