Here we go, I told y'all that I would be asking a lot of questions. I am starting the painful decison of what color to restore my Z. My wife said paint it black, but her Miata is black. I've already had a red Z, and a gold one, and I wanted a color that would be flashy. I was thinking about yellow with black interior. But the next problem is which yellow?
I don't want a pale yellow like the old mustangs, or a chicken crap yellow, or orangey yellow, or a girley yellow. I want a reach out and grab you yellow, a "man look at that yellow" yellow. I want it to be a powerful thick looking yellow. I have looked on the internet at a prowler yellow vette, but when i went to prowler yellow on a prowler it looked orangey. I've also looked at ferrari yellow, canary yellow, viper yellow but you can't tell a whole lot looking at a pic on a monitor. It is now gold and brown, but I don't want it two-tone.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I am open to suggestions, opinions, and creative criticism. Thanks for your help, as I am ready to get the paint rolling on this project, if you know what I mean!

 

Fluorescent Yellow maybe ?

Like the shade of yellow you get from a yellow glowstick.

 

Check out the new 350Z Metallic yellow. That'll grab you by the ***** and hang on for a minute or two!

 

You could always do lime green with black interior

 

try the ferrari yellow..

 

i seen a vette today that was a good lookin chevy yellow

 

House Of Colors has a Pearl Yellow that is unbelieveable. It is my favorite yellow.

 

I like dark colors on the 280ZX. I'm going to try to get the 350Z Brickyard; which is a dark purple.

 

Think about the Bronzish kinda color like on the 350Z?
