Dashboard Paint

Dashboard Paint
Hey err'body
I recently put a pretty nice finish on my dashboard, after filling the cracks with bumper repair and sanding them down, it looks brand new, and the paint is satin black, and it looks fine, but it's ultra sensitive, if I run the back of my fingernail across it it leaves a streak that's hard to get rid of
What's some awesome paint, that will leave a glossy finish, and provide protection?
I'm going to be using a dash cap, as well as the dash cover, but it will not cover the entire dashboard, like where my knees will be and scuff up the lower dash, which is my concern
Thanks again guys!

Well, what had happened, is that I had already laid down a very even and proper coat of paint, everything looked okay, I was just looking for a nice top coat.
What I should have done, was just spray down the vinyl paint, instead of the "Prepper" layer coat, that's what started eating up everything.
So what my plan is now, I'm going to go ahead and continue using the "Prep" spray, so that I get all of the paint off, so I can start out with where I was before I did anything.
It looks like the Oklahoma dirt right now, I'm pretty pissed off lol, this isn't doing much to my time to get the car up and running but I'm still peeved

Dupli color vinyl interior paint. Trust me, it is the best paint in the world for interiors. My '82 T-top is a good example of it. Unfortunately, the interior is all tore up in it. Because of taking it apart. But someday he will look better than factory.

I've used SEM for a LOOOONG time and it's very good. Just playing with the Krylor Fusion for plastics and it works well too. I did find that it doesn't like some vinyl - it seems to stay tacky forever but on the ABS it's just fine. I worked on all the body panels except the ones I recovered in vinyl myself.
