I've got an 82 280zx that I drive daily. I also have an '80 that is not yet running. The '80 has tinted windows and tinted back glass. How hard is it to remove the door windows and replace? I think that I should be able to just take the back hatch off of each and make the swap.

Opinions?

As long as they're both the same body style (ie: 2seater or 2+2) the hatches will just swap out. As for the door windows, it's cake. They're only held in place with a few bolts, and realigning them is REALLY simple when you reinstall them. I had to take mine out for some body work. They came out easy and went back in easy.

 

i would have to agree. the door windows are a easy swap and the hatch is easy as long as you have some help

 

but you could get the running one tinted, brand new tint...for probably $80...
