Heater switch problem

Okay, I got a 1982 280ZX GL 2+2. The heater was working fine before, I took the dash out, and put it back, and the heater still worked. I put everything else back in like the radio and interior panels. Now it doesn't work. The blower motor isn't getting power, in any setting or hot or cold. I checked the fuse for the blower motor and it is good and it has power going in and out. I've been studing the FSM, but some of it doesn't make sense to me. So the blower amplifier, is before the blower motor in the circuit? Where is the blower relay located, engine relay box, fuse box? Is there some kind of switch for the heater so that when the car is cold it won't blow hot air until it starts to warm up? I really appreciate any ideas or any help. Thanks.

That is the one I checked. I also found out that the blower motor gets full power 12V, on the red wire. The other wire (green) has no power and I guess is the ground. I hooked up the blower motor straight to the battery (red wire terminal to +, and green wire terminal to -) and it came on and worked perfectly. If I try to put the red wire with 12V to the blower motor and then hook up a separate ground, the voltage goes way down. Does the green wire go somewhere else and not just straight to ground, or is the speed of the motor controled on the positive side?

Edit: So I found that the green wire goes to the blower amplifier. There is a 4-pin plug, there is a black wire that is a good ground, the green wire, and two blue wires one has full 12V power the other one (I think blue/red) has no power and is not a ground. How often do the amplifiers go out?

Does anyone know how to remove the climate/heater control unit without taking the whole dash out?

Found the problem to be that the blower amplifier isn't getting the swithed power. Hooked it up to a separate 12V power source and it worked, so the control unit has the connector that switches power to the amplifier when the heater is turned on. Can anyone take or have a picture of the rear of the control unit (auto), or just tell me how many connectors go to it?

You do need to remove the dash to get that control out. Since you just did it recently, I think you can get the dash off in about 15 min.

You might still be able to get that amplifier from Nissan for a few bucks. A new one would be good.
