Well, I have now a driveable ZX

The next items in my restoration project are:
1. Rust (bottom of the windshield and bottom of right tail light). I spoke to a guy which happens to have good rep on doing these things and he says it will cost about $600.00. He's willing to charge me less if I get the metal piece that's between the windshield and the wipers, my spare ZX has this piece in decent shape, but removing this metal piece goes beyond my expertise.
2. Body Paint. Original paint's in decent shape (except for the rust).
3. Upholstery work. Pretty much the entire inside of the car needs to be redone.
4. Engine swap. I began working on my spare parts '82 280ZX and I'll be using this engine to place it on my '81 ZX. No turbo on this swap

I definetely want to fix the rust first, but I'm undecided as to what should be done next. What do you guys suggest?

 

after the rust, make sure the car runs correctly, then after getting to know the car, start the upgrades you would like to do, if you dont get to know the car first, you may be dissapointed with it and put money into nothing, also get the interior fixed during this bonding process, also i have interior parts for sale, so feel free to pm me. hope that helps
