hi, new member. what wing is this?!

i also would want to know where to get a wing like that. the closest thing that ive found is the Xenon rear spoiler but its not the same thing. I was thinking about maybe getting the BRE spoiler of the Z's and maybe modify it but it would be easier if someone knew how to get one for our cars

No clue.. I found these of coarse.. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merch...ory_Code=7RSW1

the picture is from a japanese fairlady Z mag, but all it really says is the 2 liter model had something about overdrive, and the headlight covers, rear wing and garnish are aftermarket : /

Looks like a modified spoiler designed for a S30. I'm going to get around to that spoiler but when all depends on how the winter treats me out here in VA. So far it's been non stop rain for the past week or so. Forcast says pretty clear for a while to come. Quick question though: Do you like it like the one above or do you want it to stop right at the outside edges of the hatch?

I like the one above.
I'm thinking S30 (240Z) factory Fairlady Z spoiler basically. I was going to put that on my 280ZX 2+2. The angle of the 2+2 hatch kinda limits you to spoilers that look good on a 2+2. Earlier we saw someone posted a 2+2 with that spoiler and I like it.
But, since I have that spoiler on my Fairlady, one of these days I can test fit it just to see how it set and how it looks.
'one of these days' never seems to come for a lot of things for me.
Did you guys notice the rear center panel says 200ZX ?

yeh japan models were kinda funky, 200zx and all that. i have an 83 n/a im tyring to get going, so when i go out to japan i try lookign for parts,.. but like everything else,. the s130 wasnt too popular there either ; (. i even found a few shops that just do z31 stuff, and its always the same, "ohhh.. s130, eh?,,,,"

I think that spoiler is perfect, how it just barely goes past the hatch. I have seen ones were it only goes over the hatch and it looks good but not quite as good as that. But the ones MSA sells don't look good in my opinion they are way to wide.

I didn't find what I was lookign for but I noticed LWW's car was on that website for sale?? Is he selling his car? And I just noticed that car in the 1st post doesn't have the ugly B-pilliar things or atleast they don't have those stupid line in them.

But I've never seen the L20/L20e Z-cars called a 200Z or 200ZX. They are just "Fairlady Z" in Japan.
that rear center panel is almost like an American product they have adapted to their own Z's engine size. Like if we had one that said Fairlady Z on it...
I don't want one though. Too much plastic...

the z31 variation was the 200zr, i believe the r designates a stripped down performance variation, where as the X in zx means a more luxury oriented car. it had all the luxury options removed, including power windows. i believe it had the stiffest z31 suspension, and a turbo rb20det with a top mount intercooler, hence the hood scoop.

Yeah I think the RB equipped Z31's were basically a limited high performance edition. Probably had something to do with meeting a sales quota to use the engine in racing or something along those lines.
