How to Install Full Face Dash Cap?

I purchased the dash cap from azbob@vehicle-interior-parts.com on EBAY. It does not come with the dash sensor hole pre-cut. Has anyone installed one of these on an auto climate car? What is the best way to get the sensor hole in the right place? I figured i could put the dash in place, remove the glove box and old broken sensor and mark the hole from the back of the dash. Then pull the dash cover back out and drill out the hole and install. Any ideas??? Thanks

I did not have a climate sensor to deal with, so i can't help much there. Your idea sounds good to me though. As far as general install goes, its pretty basic, just put the silicone glue around the edges, place it over your dash, and hold any loose spots with some bracing against the seats. Alternately you could just sit in the car for 2 hours and hold the cover yourself until the glue sets. Hope you have a good friend to sit in the passengers seat and do the same on his side. lol
