MSA STYLE II areo kit

Get this! you have to block sand the area that is causing the hood to not open.. Here`s how to do this : open the hood to where the hood hits, now keep the hood right at that point and trace a line where the hood is not clearing the bumper.then take a block sander with 60grit sand paper and start working the area down, note not to over sand this area, you don`t have to sand all the way to the line you have drawn.sand a little all the way across ,and check to see how you are pogressing by opening the hood often."DON`T OVER SAND" I had the same problem .Icalled MSA and that how they say they did it on their project car..I said I was dissappointed that this had to be done to fit, needless to say after I did this it did work and it did look ok, but i was so pissed that I took it back off and bought a new fr.spoiler off JCR ,I have to use the orginal bumper but the spoiler fits perfect and looks much better than the MSA fr. bumper cover.. I have a love / hate relationship with MSA , Love you can get alot for your Z,but I think the rip you with cost and they often send the wrong items.. maybe it just happens to me, Well good luck...........

Ice, do you have a kill switch on that car? Yes, it looks very clean and nice. The wheels totally changed the personality of it.

I've also got the problem with the bumper. Had to cut away a sliver off the edge of the bumper. I figured sanding would take too long. Still had to sand to smooth out the edges.

im not too thrilled bout the rounded edges myself but i do like its style... i think if it were a lil more sharp on the edges and less bubbly on the sides.. it would look a lot better.. i do like the openings...

Thumbs down

I'd have to say no to that kit. Looks awful. I've seen that picture before. Oh, and I also prefer the 2-seater 280zx by far. I hardly see any 2+2 models around that are in good shape.

My 280zx is a 2+2. I've got a baby now, so if I didnt' have the 2+2 I might be forced to sell the Z and get a 510 or something slow like that.
