Need a headliner for '83 280zx with T-Tops

Well, ive been pokin around and cant seem to find a red headliner for my '83 280zx with T-top's. I have looked at BDA and all of that cause i found a post with a whole list of z sites. So i was wondering if any of you had a suggestion on where to get one, cause i dont want to have to pay someone else to do a custom job for me when i could get a kit and do it my self.

What color do you need? You might be better off going to a junk yard, or checking our Marketplace section to find someone locally who's stripping a 280ZX. Since the panel is so large, the shipping could get pretty steep, so a local purchase would be best.

if you take all the stuff off that needs to come off anyway to do it yourself and shop around you will find that it isn't that expensive to have someone do it professionaly.

Absolutely have your local auto upholstery shop make you a new headliner.

They should be able to do it pretty cheap. Most people spend more money on DIY carpet kits for Z cars that cost nearly as much as having a professional auto upholstery shop make and install one...

Here you go man, I redid my headliner myself, in a gray polyester fabric. With foam underneath. It gives it that sort of pillow effect. If you have the patience and time. Mine cost me less than $15, and I used my original cardboard to redo it. It was also the first time, I ever attempted something like this. You can really do it, if you put your mind to it.

Just wrap the original carboard section in patent leather... good to go
