the fit and finish are top notch. all curves and bends fall on spot. and installation was very easy, the only part i had to trim was the thin piece between the glove box and the passenger side vent. but it was very littlo to shave off. i got mine on ebay but it is the same company that makes ones for MSA.

I've installed 3 dash caps in Jade throughout the years (lifetime warranty - yeah, right -- only if you want to remove the old cap and send it to them, then wait for a new one -- I passed). Anyway, each cap I bought (from 3 different reputable companies) had to be cut slightly on the right side of the glovebox -- just like you described, CerealKilla.

Jimmy, I've found that weighing the cap down with sand bags for a couple of days also helps to keep it level while the silicone is drying. Also, if you have to cut holes in the dash, due to unlevel surfaces, the spray foam works great -- then just cut the excess foam after it hardens and sand it down -- helps to prevent dips and cracks later on (wish I'd used it the 1st time, but the 3rd time was a charm -- ).

Yeppers! Actually, I'm an officer of the club. Hope you can make it to our next meeting -- 1st Tuesday of each month, and our Christmas party is 12/7/03 in Marietta. Lemme know if you can't make it the meeting, and I'll give you the details on the party, if they're not posted on our website by that time.
