Go for it, Bleach. If you don't like them, I'll buy them off ya.

Now that's a hot 2+2 D. I'm not the fondest of the 2+2 body styling myself, well let me reword that, I prefer the styling of the 2seater, but that ones pretty hot. The Z32 was the first (and last) Zcar to, in my opinion, get the whole 2+2 thing down just right. Unless you put the two body styles side by side, it's pretty hard to tell which is which as the body lines still flow the same. One is just a little longer thats all.

And let me clarify that I do NOT think the 2+2 is ugly or any of that crap. So don't anyone tear into me over this. I prefer my Z's styling to my brothers Mustang, and I think he has a beautiful car. So when I say "prefer" think of it in that context.

2 Seater vers 4 seater

It doesn't matter as we have both. My son's is a 2+2 & he isn't putting the rear seat back in (he is tall) & plans to put a better speaker system where the back seat was. Also he doesn't plan to carry more than him and a girl. The car will remain lighter. The bottom line is it depends what you plan to use the car for. Good Luck

Bleach, hey where's that body kit from? I'm so lost on my search for the right kit for my 280ZXT 2 Seater.

Personally I like those mirrors Bleach btw.

I wish that was my car. It was a joke.
That front clip I have only seen on cars in Japan. Too bad someone who speaks Japanese can't convince them to work up a deal with Motorsport Auto so we can all easily buy them up.

Those mirrors on their fenders are ok. They are the square mirrors like our ZX's have. I was thinking of using the smaller round 240Z mirrors on my ZX. First reason is they look a little better I think and second reason is I can buy the 240Z Fairlady mirrors and I can't buy the ZX fender mirrors.

http://www.zcarparts.com has some body kits for the 280ZX. Every kit you can buy in America is available through that company.

The Japanese one above and the 280ZX G-nose one are only available in Europe and/or Japan.

That Japanese kit on the black 2+2 I posted would be the Bomex kit for the ZX. I hear it's still in production, but not listed anywhere. I'm sure a quick phone call or email to a shop that doubles as the American counterpart of Bomex could yield impressive results.

You can email BOMEX, Japan. I used to send them emails back in the day and they would respond in english. Alot of those bigger companies have reps that speak english. Veilside, JUN and HKS all have english reps that responded to my emails. Of course now if you try to email HKS they just refer you to a distributor if it's about pricing. The nice people at BOMEX and JUN even quoted me prices in Yen and dollars.

I did. It's been a few years since I hit them up. It's lost somewhere in a past email account. I've gone through a few. And since then their website has stopped working. It was www.bomex.co.jp But it hasn't worked for a while now. You can probably get more information on how to contact them through Bomex-USA. A little while back I tried running them through several search engines including a few Japanese search engines with no success of locating them. I'm wondering if BOMEX USA is the only way to get ahold of them. I haven't tried contacting the USA branch though, so you might want to try them.

Either my eyes are getting worse than I thought or you've got a serious focus/contrast issue with your camera.

I could barely tell that was a Z car... But if it was, it looked like it was a nice white one! Auto or Manual?

The part I like about the 2 seater is the rear quarter window area, for some reason or other it grabs me. Reading the book Nissan put out on the development of the S130 it seems that style quarter window was a late change made to the preferred body shape. Someone made a great decision

Sooner or later I'll get a two seater, somehow or other.
