2+2 Rear susp capacity????

I'm looking to add major tunes to my '83 2+2. Anyone know if there are stronger springs available to handle the extra weight? I'm looking at filling the hatch w/amps, box, 15" sub, wiring and all the other goodies that goes with. All in all I'm thinking 300lbs plus. Most of the hatch area. Ideas? I know there are adjustable rate struts available to changethe ride control but what about springs?

Mercedes front coil springs. approx 1983-88 300 series cars. (300D, ect)
I got them and they are nice and stiff (out of the car). The coil is much more thick than the Nissan springs. They match the diameter of the rear coils. One guy I know has installed them and had to cut them to match stock height. They would be perfect for your setup. Cut them so they just barely fit into the strut housing fully extended with no compression. The car will not sag as much as the stock springs so with all your weight you'll be at or just barely below factory ride height.

Anything new on this? I've been looking for performance springs for my 83' 2+2 as well. I checked on the Mercedes springs, but haven't had any luck finding them yet.

Thanks!
