I hope they are what you want. I changed my springs in my 3kgt and went with the ground control coil overs and I absolutly hate them. My a$$ end bounces all over the place. I have em set to only about a inch lower than stock and they still bounce. I don't know jack about suspensions though, so maybe I can fix the bouncyness.

They look really nice and I hope they give you the ride you are after.

The front springs, new struts, new ball joints, and bump steer spacers are all installed. (front only)

It already rides much much better... firm!
strangely, the rear end squat seems to be much less now too. Those old struts were compeltely blown. The new ones have resistance up and down.

I also test fitted a 16x9 wheel for the pic but with the undersize tire you can't tell the car is lowered. Oh, I got a 1.5" drop in front

I think I can slap the rear in tonight. The rear is far less work than the front.
When I post a pic of the whole car from the side (with proper tires) you'll see it doesn't need to be cut. There is no fender gap.

you know, I am pretty fast on foot...

I ordered the springs from Shox.com It was $190 and $15 shipping. It arrived in just under a week from the day I ordered it.

Are those KYB's or Illumina's?

That lime green is truely frightening!

But they would actually look good on Rob's 240Z. It's up on the lift on the right. The 510 in the center in the same color is his too...

Those are KYB. I love how the car drives now. If the rear doesn't settle any more in a few weeks I might cut a half coil off on the rear.

Damn, that took care of that wheel well gap quite well didnt it.

Is that how the rears were sitting when you installed them or is that post settling Bleach? Cause it does appear that the rear has a slightly larger gap but not enough to make it look bad or anything.

The springs are stock ST and not cut. So ya, the back is a little higher than the front. I'll probably leave it like that for a while. Maybe I'll get my extra rear crossmember slotted and then install that at the same time I cut a half coil off the back.

Personally I think it looks alot better when the back is just a tad bit higher. I think the car looks great.
Last thing you would want to do is cut em, and find you have a saggy assend afterwards.

Bleach, those look great on the car! I have got to get some struts and springs for my 83, but not sure what to get. I am running 205/70/14 with stock wheels and can't spend the money to change wheels right now. You went with the Suspension Tech springs, and KYB GR-2 shocks/struts (non adjustable gas)? Are the $ 208 shocks from shox.com, the same that are on e-bay from jdmwerks13 for $130, Buy It Now?
