82-83 rear suspension changes???

I was reading somewhere that datsun changed the read end set some in the 82-83's. Was wondering if any of you guys know what if anything they changed, and how well it did/did not work. It was supposed to have been in an effort to improve handling.
I'm figuring on having to mess around some with the rear, and thinking maybe I should know a little more history first...

All I know is that the rear brakes changed and that changed the swing arms too. but thats about it as far as I know on that.

Indeed... different brake calipers & rotors, cv's instead of half shafts, and different brake line mounts. That's about it... but just enough to make 79-81 to 82-83 part swaps a pain.

Think the Z31 which had a similar rear suspension had the swing angles changed to improve handling, less camber change on squat. How it would fit in the 280ZX I have no idea.
