Anyone with Rota RB-Rs?
As the title states, I'm just curious if anyone on this site (besides Bleach) is going to have the Rota RB-R on their Z. I am going to have some mounted soon since this past rain storm here in SD made me realize my tires were getting a little too close to the wear bar for comfort. I picked them up from the group buy that went on on the HBZ site. I decided 17x9 all around instead of the staggered fitment since I heard the 9.5" wide wheels will be sticking out past the fender quite a bit. I'll have pics up as soon as I do get the wheels on. Most places are closed by the time I get off work, so most likely I'll have to wait until the weekend.

Haha Bleach, only cool kids have the Powerglove. I don't have one so I bought wheels to try to be cool.

255's handle great on our cars, i have 255/40r17. the only thing your gonna really have to watch is it will exagerate the understeer due to larger contact patch. i solved it with stiffer rear springs to plant the front better. the rear squat on the car makes those things push hard when cornering. the stiffer springs (mercedes 300) made it all go to the neutral, i can slide or push or just be neutral just by pedal, brake and steer now. it used to just plain push

Understeer just isn't fun...
In case noobs don't know the difference between under and oversteer.
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
Oh yeah..
10" wheels FTW!

Just got my tires and wheels mounted, but I ran outta daylight before I could snap a few pics. The wheels sit pretty flush with the fender, and do not stick out past the body. Rubbing won't be an issue with the tires either.
Shady, thanks for the heads up on the handling change. I'll see what I can do to eliminate some of the understeer.

Thanks man. That is an SE-R Spec V next to my Z. My bro drives that car. It's pretty fun to drive and handles well for a FWD car. I musta missed the thread or something, but when did you get the 240sx?

wow i like it!!!! those are really nice, i wanna a set. they fit pretty much exact like mine, now if you lower it your gonna need to trim the arches. before you drive too much, roll the front fender lip just a hair to avoid cutting the tires up, just at the front 1/2 of it. i had to on mine as well. hit a bump mid corner, youll see. i found ou the hard way.

Thanks guys, I'll take some better pics whenever we get some decent weather on a weekend. Shady, I did have to roll my fenders both front and rear. Other than that, there's no issues with the wheels' fitment.
