Exclamation Brake bias 79 280zx

so Im upgrading the brake master cyl and the brake booster on my 79 s130 to 81-83 parts
the front lines on the new master cyl are reversed ie front section of the master cyl is running to the rear lines and the rear section of the master cyl is running to the front lines, Is this a problem or is the brake bias 50/50??

PS-in case its relevant Im running drilled and slotted rotors on all four

also now the pedal goes straight to the floor, thought we bled it properly, might need the pedal adjusted. There is a tiny amount of braking at the very bottom of the travel

I don't have time to look through the FSM's right now to compare 79 vs 83 brake masters, but it shouldn't matter which lines come off the master, it's the proportioning valve that adjusts the pressure.

And if the pedal is hitting the floor, you still need to bleed the system. Start w/ the master, then open the farthest corner & pump until you have a steady stream of clean fluid. Then go to the other corners.

What is the status besides pay dirt... did you figure out how to bench bleed the master cylinder? That is you first step. Bleed it off of the car then install and bleed the brake lines.
