Question Brake...upgrade??

the front 280zx brakes are good but dont have good stopping power from :burnout: 120mph. Is there any brakes (calipers & rotors) like Brembo or Wilwood that would have performance brakes for the 280zx????thnxs

Well....the most popular upgrade that isn't too much of a headache, is the Toyota truck front caliper deal.

I've heard a bunch of 1st geners doing it, but I'm not sure if it'll work for a ZX. I also don't really know what is involved.....can't be too hard, it's brakes for cryin' out loud.........

Anyway, Victoria Brittish (as well as other companies, I'm sure...) have a drilled, slotted rotor that works well with stock calipers. Not too pricey either.

check the ArizonaZ upgrade under the 510 link ... best I found so far unless you want to go custom and will be more $$$$

The Toyota brake upgrade will not work. It is only for the first Gen Z's. 1970-78

I have seen other brake upgrades for the 280ZX. They are aftermarket like the brands you mentioned. I think they run about $800-1000 for the front pair. That would include rotor upgrades.
