I haven't seen but one front coil over setup on a 280zx. But Modern Motorsport has a rear setup:

There are people running complete set ups, but i think they are mainly custom one offs, what i will be doing will be, as for the prize of the modern motorsports... i can go 4 corners !

I dont know why they dont advertise the fronts on their site. I emailed them a while back about fronts and they said they were in the process of updating their site. That was like a year ago That a long time. Hey SHADY, do they still make the custom hubs?

mmm... are they adjustable? Im interested because Im starting drifting and will need adjustalbe coilovers (or a 240sx) Oh and chinesekid I called TIEN a long time ago, and of course they dont make anything for S130s not even for Z31s! I found that odd since TIEN's been around longer than our cars...oh well, but I havent called Cusco I think ill try them next. I mean they do carry strut bars for even the older Z cars so maybe they have something else. Oh good news though about TIEN: not only do they update their catalogue with new parts for new cars but also they come up with new parts for old cars too! My friend had the new catalogue and it said Coming soon: AE92 '92 Corolla Damper kit. That cars a freaking 90hp economy car, so they have to be thinking about at least 280zxs! Maybe if enough of us ask them...

One of the greatest points of coil overs, is that they are adjustable.

Check out this place: http://www.a1racing.com/index.asp?Pa...S&Category=253
and you'll want to check out their springs too: http://www.a1racing.com/index.asp?Pa...S&Category=304
If you can't find anybody that makes coilovers for our cars then you can make your own. And they're not very expensive at all.

They key is finding a set that have the spring height and ride height adjustments seperate. If you're adjusting ride height with the spring height then you're increasing your spring rate. You want a coilover with a full threaded body so that both the top and bottom spring perches are adjustable.
