Cusco strut bars

Hey there, for those who have the Cusco strut bars. Correct me if I’m wrong, those are adjustable, right? Next question, have you played around with their adjustability? I was just curious about this. I did some searching on Cusco strut bars on this forum and never heard of someone talking about their adjustability, but I do know some of you have them. I have them for the front and rear. I’ve actually had them for about couple years now and love them. I just want to know a little more info on them and thought maybe you guys can give some insight. Thanks…

Unlike most adjustable suspension parts that adjust to fine tune, adjustable sway bars are pretty much only adjustable to make them fit. Cars flex and twist and after so many cycles they get further from their original shape. Adjustability remedies this problem. You can dial in a certain amount of preload into the bar but it's effects are minimal. Too much adjusting and you're likely to bend the bar or move a shock tower out of whack. Adjust it to fit and it will do exactly what it's supposed to do.

I got a "NismoPick" rear strut bar, with a "NismoPick" front one on the way.

Oh yeah... cost: Priceless... oh, I mean $0.

Absolutely! I had just finished painting my rear strut bar when my buddy says: "Why didn't you put a camera mount on there?" Again... something that could have been brought to my attention YESTERDAY!

It would have been cheaper to do it yourself and may be cheaper to pull yours out and put the camera mount on it yourself, but if you're too lazy...

That's bad ***! I've seen some suction cup ones for inside / outside window or door use. No matter how strong it is, I couldn't ever stick a $1000 camera on the side of my car when I'm driving crazy.

This previous post from J was pretty good:

Pretty much, if it's made of a hard metal, and fits, it will work. It's job it to keep the struts from moving apart.

I made my own for a cost of $0.
