Front Strut Installation!
Hey guys, whats the easiest way to put on the new struts and springs on the front. I bought new ball joints and tie rods, but the whole strut and spring assembly is being a dirty biznotch.

From my post this morning in Skittle's thread: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/280zx-s130-forums-77/front-shocks-19826/
Once the strut is out, just use a spring compressor to remove & install new springs.

Thanks Nismo. I might have frazed my question wrong. I have the new struts, and springs already put in, i am having trouble getting the entire assembly to mount right on the ball joint. The left front strut and everything is bolted in, but i cant get it right on the ball joint.
Any Ideas?
Hope this clears up the question.

ball joint removal
you do not have to take the strut off just undo the tie rod off the steering rack mark the rack at where the nut screws out then use a tie rod removal tool first undo the nut at the bottom of the ball joint.

What? in my world we just undo the two bolts that hold the steering arm onto the strut housing, no special tools involved. I hate pickle forks, they tear up balljoint boots and tierod boots. The press type tools are nice, but one baby sledge in your toolbox replaces all of those things. Just smack the crap out of the knuckle a few times and magically everything comes undone.
