got my wheels

yay i finally got my wheels from MSA after like 3 weeks. everything is coming together now. we actually moved it into out garage untill we get the windshield installed. i waxed it and washed it today being careful not to get any water in the dash and shiz. it runs great and i will have my wheels on it once i get the window installed.

Are they one piece or did they send you wheels with a set of adaptors to fit the offset?

one piece 15x7 konig rewinds

today i spent all day working on the stereo. i got my deck all wired and powered. then we ran power lines from the batttery to one of the amps which sits behind the passenger seat. this amp powers the 2 8" soundstream refrence subs. then therres another amp under the driver seat for the front speakers, and an amp behind the driver seat which powers the rear speakers. speaker wise i got a set of 4.5 polk audio component speakers, with seperate tweeters. then i got another set of 5.5 polk audios for the rear. i dont knwo where to put any of the speakers though, we were thinking in the buckets behind the driver seat, find some way to seal them. but we have no idea where to begin on the front speakers

im leaving out the front speakers on mine. doing away with the back speakers (polk also) placing them in a box to fit all the way at the tail. sub in the middle the mids seperated on each side but in the same box as the 12 in sub. sony mp3 deck my cd changer and amps will go over the speaker holes behind the seats. im doing it this way for better sound coming all from the rear. guess im getting too old for all the blare from the front dash. 81 280zx

I'm also doing all rear, but I have a 2+2 that I don't want friends begging for rides in, therefor my rear seats will be transformed into a folddown speaker box. security and less hassle all at the same time!

Not much room up front for speakers other than the dash. Good luck fabricating something to fit in the footwell, I can barely get both my feet in there. The doors are alright if you can get a cusom door panel made, the stocks are kinda flimsy. You could mount a couple of tweeters on the A-pillars and adjust the volume so they aren't as loud as the rest of the system. That way you get good voice clarity from the front. Just make sure they're quality units or else face the wrath of static noise Then you can just put the speakers in the dash for low frequency and run a crossover between them. That way you don't get too much sound from the front, just enough that you can hear the high frequency when you bumping out the back. The simple term for this is component speakers I have a nasty habit of drawing out my explanations

Actually to even out the sound of the front and rear, just adjust the fader it works great. And you can set it where you are satisfied and not blowing your ears from the front!
