It's that time again.

So with the MSA show just a month away I find that my rear tires are just about toast on the inside edge thanks to my so far uncorrectable negative camber. So I need to replace them... No biggie. Not being one to screw around though, I would of course replace all four. But, I think it's time to change the wheels again (those of you who've been around a while have seen my car with two different sets of 17" wheels). I'm over the ones I have now. They are so "Last year" if ya know what I mean. Anyway's it's very tempting to go ahead and make the jump to 18's. I know the ride quality will suck even more than it does now, but it would certainly look sweet. I also want to go with a little thicker hub adapter to bring the stance out a bit more and to make room for an 18" wheel with the FWD offest.

I'm still debating. I may burn one more set of rubber off these wheels before I do all of that. There's certainly other things my car could use more than a new set of wheels.

What do you guys think? Stick with what I have, or go "Mas Grande" and update the style a little?

Time's a wastin'

meh, i dont really like bigger than 17. just a preference thing. i know you already know this, but the bigger you go, the more weight you add to the car. weight is not something i like to add to my car. i guess i would have to see pics though to make the final decision.

I say go 18's only so I can see what they'd look like Maybe photoshop them onto the car first or something. I guess a lot of it depends on the style of wheel you choose. Lets see what you had in mind.

Whas the plan w/ your 17's if you replace them? If the price is right, I'd buy them from ya @ the MSA show.

Do you have hub adaptors so you can bolt them onto your car?

I'm not sure on a style yet or anything, just trying to get an idea if I should consider changing them. I just never really liked the ones I have on there right now. I actually prefer my old 7 spoke wheels :

Not the greatest picture, but I loved how they looked on my car. Heartless bastards stole them when my car got stolen. That particular wheel was out of production, so I couldn't get more. I want to go back to something similar maybe.

Those are nice 7 spoke rims! and I do have the Modern Motorsport wheel adapters... just waiting for the perfect rim to roll by.

my opinion, i dont like the 7 spokes in that color, part of the sleekness of your car is the black rims with the chrome ring. imo

My current wheels actually aren't black... they're that weird *** "Hyper Black" color that is more like a dark charcoal grey. I see your point though. The seven spokes I used to have look almost white in the picture for some reason, but they were actually silver. I wouldn't mind a 7 spoke with true black spokes and a polished lip though... I think that would be the bombdiggityshiznettoblamzam if I can find some
