Exclamation MAster Cylinder

Hi guys,

This morning i realised that my brake pedal can go more down than usual so i think its the master cylinder that need to be replaced. I have a '83 280zx, is it possible to use a modern master cylinder or do i have to order the original ?

thanks

It might just be a small be leak somewhere in the line. I'd hate for you to have to replace something you don't need to.

^^^ Indeed... check everything before ordering random parts. Check the inside firewall below the master cylinder plunger for fluid (pretty common when the master starts leaking). Also check the slave. If no leaks, flush system and fully bleed.
