Now for the question... Since this a one piece deal, do I still need a ball joint separator? Looks like 2 bolts and a nut to me, but I don't know... Never done 'em before.
Yes you do, and a bench vise would make it easier. They were not fun, but not impossible. Of course I was changing them on a very abused Z. So the front end parts were in worse shape. Anyway yes, get a ball joint seperator, a sledge hammer, and of course the main ractchet, and wrenches that you need. Good luck man.

The shocks and struts came in, but the bushings are MIA. I called the day my package arrived and was told "two more days". That was Tuesday. Not happy right now.

Bushings are still MIA. Made a call in to Shox.com and they "are investigating". I either want my $120 back or my bushings (I'd prefer the bushings). If they come this week, I'll be putting everything in this weekend.

go oem, I just replaced all my shocks with ones I got through nissan, and it made a world of difference, the car doesnt nearly squat and go as much as it used to and it corners so much better.

edit: dismay this entire this post, I didn't realize this topic was 3 pages, i was just responding to the end of the first page lol

Dude, I would give you a hand if you were closer. I am jealous of the parts you got there. Good luck with installing the parts. And feel free to post pics when you are done.
