Noise in reverse

Hello,

One more thing I noticed about the 280zx that I'm looking to buy is when I parked it and put it in reverse, I heard a clung noise from the back. I did that a few times before going for a ride and after. When it warmed up the noise became louder than when it was cold before the drive. Is this noise from the transmission or something else and how costly it is to repair?
Your thoughts please.

Thanks,
Mike

Common "clunk" problem caused by worn out diff mount, half shafts / cv's, or both. Search for "clunk" in the 240-280z and 280zx sections... plenty-o-info on it.
