Are your locking lug nuts the ones you just buy off the shelf at an auto parts store? Most of those are symetrical 6 slots around the outside of the nut. Everyone has those.

Most tire shops already have them out in their garage. (not really a good locking lug nut)

If you have Gorilla locking lugs with a unique pattern then you're screwed. Those are good locking nuts!

this is why i always kept my wheel lock in my glove compartment. or in my safe. but glove compartment makes more sense incase of a flat or if you go for an alignment

Well I took my Turbo down to my mechanic friends who used to race Z's back in the day and I had him look a few things over for me. All of my U-joints are fine...the diff is fairly solid on it's mounts and he said it IS NOT my bucking issue nor is the drive-shaft. He did suggest getting a new clutch and throwout bearing though the clutch itself is in good working order as he demonstrated by taking some rubber off my rear tires more than once. He did say the clutch pedal was too stiff and gets progressively stiffer the further you push it. I told him about it sticking on the floor and he just laughed at me and ask why the hell I put it on the floor...he said I only need to push it halfway at best.

He showed me how to power brake the car also which I still can't do it yet...it was impressive. He wants me to save up a little cash and he is going to help me re-do the brakes...he said I was brave driving it like I do what with having to pump the brakes 3 times to stop the car. He called my BOV a piece of **** but said at least it works and said he didn't understand why I didn't get an electronic boost controller. According to him my bucking may have to do with fuel and he said my O2 is toast also that my clutch my not be releasing fully or something like that...I have an O2 sensor the porch but I cant get the old one out. So at least now I have a little better idea and someone to help out a little with the car that has alot of knowledge about Z's. Oh yeah and he told me that I may need a few more degrees on the timing side of things but that we would work all that out after the brakes are done.

power brake? you mean brake stand? like dump the clutch get on the brakes just enough so teh fronts only lock up? its easy peasy!!!! but good to hear you got someone near by that can help you out. to get an O2 sensor out though you need a big pipewrench, those things get stuck in there GOOD!

The two terms are one in the same..so yes, brake stand as you described. I have never attempted to do it with a manual...to worried I would stall it. The only problem with the "pipe wrench" is the lack of space near the O2...I am thinking and I think this was brought up in here is bust the old O2 down to the nut and use an impact wrench.

Hot damn Snw...you may just have a brain after all....I think I can give that a shot in the morning...by the looks of it I may have a problem getting to one of the exhaust bolts...I think I may be able to handle that too. Thanks Snw

Uh... POWER BRAKE is pretty much the unofficial official term. EVERYONE uses that term to describe braking and throttle at the same time.

LOL, here is the term as I read it from the "Urban Dictionary"

1. brake stand

when you hold the brake down and press on the gas at the same time. only works on rear-wheel cars. produces a lot of smoke and tire marks on the hot top

"that kid just left major marks and a lot of smoke after doing a brake stand"

All three terms seem to be used just as often (Brake Stand, Burnout, and Power Brake) with the term Brake Stand being the only one that someone took the time to define...even if it is in the "Urban Dictionary"

I guess it all depends on what region you live in as to what term you would use...I guess regions with roots in hillbilly-ism and inbreeding would use the term "Brake Stand" whereas regions rooted in big city life and people who do not take their sisters out on dates use the term "Power Brake"

For the O2 start hitting it with a lot of penetrating oil, PB Blaster, Aerocroil, Liquid Wrench, whatever. When I got my O2 sensor out what I did was, I broke the O2 sensor off so I could get a socket around it. At the time I didn't know there was an O2 socket, but I didn't care since the old one was useless and I was going to worry about putting the new one in when I got to that point. Anyway we kept spraying and crap and warming up the car to try. Finally the next day we sprayed it more, got a foot long extension, we were using I think a 1" drive, and then I took my jack handle and put that on the end of the wrench. We were finally able to use that to break it free. What you may need to do to get enough room is just take off the two nuts that hold the brake fluid reservoir to that little vacuum thingy. Then I just pushed the reservoir out a little but it was still on the studs which gave me enough room to get the big extension in there.
