go to harbor freight or nearest cheep tool store from hell--buy compressor for less than 25$--best investment money can buy short of NEW TIRES with WARRANTY----then no need to sit in rain --unless you need a reason to lite up a doobie while the tires inflate!!!!!!! ??

get roadside assistance from your auto insurer and leave the spare out them things is heavy. Can't remember the last time I actually changed a flat and i've been driving 48 years. Tires and rims are really pretty bulletproof in modern times unless you are driving around construction sites and picking up nails and sheetrock screws. I have had a number of slow leakers but never anything so catastrophic that I needed to change out the spare. The 12v compressor is much the better idea. If you get one inflated chances are you can make it to a safe haven.

EDIT... dude... I have no idea how the crap that double post just happened. I clicked on edit & when I saved, it posted another post. Is it still Halloween???

back to tires--do not use fix-a-flat in our tires--throws off the balance and gives a NASTY little shimmy.
