The car is up on jack stands and I'm pulling the suspension off.
I'm going to try to get the sway bars, tension rods, springs, and struts all done at once this weekend.

Going to a Datsun meet on Sunday the 17th.

Had a hang-up on the brake calipers. Those 17mm bolts are on TIGHT!

In other news, I sent the J-pipe off to the welder to get the BOV flange welded on.

2 cars deep. I usually park the 280ZX in the back area and the 350Z up front.
Like most Americans, my roommates use their garage space for storing 'stuff'

What are you talking aboot? You mean the rear garage space where my 7 yr old daughter is setting in the red chair? You think she's an old lady?

The pillows, boxes, and lamp shade is their storage space. The racks of cool stuff in back are mine. I park the 280ZX next to those when I'm not needing to work on all sides of it.

They're not new because I got them off a parts car a few years ago. Check out the first page of this thread. I already said I "already own some rusty sway bars" They're actually not as rusty as I had thought.

Yes its a waste of pictures but NismoPick wanted pics. I know you wanted pics too.

Well Snow, I had some issues with other things today so I'm getting a late start on the Z.

Plus, I'm pulling this out now before I have even received my springs and struts. I'm expecting them Thursday or Friday.

I got mine last week. I think it'll look cool with the red springs and the red bushings.

right ^^^^

once you re-look at it you can tell by proportions, of how much smaller she is than a car that its a little girl. old people shrink but not to 3.5 feet tall. haha

If we were storing a little old lady in the garage, wouldn't she be in a creaky old wooden rocking chair?

or maybe out on the front porch with a shotgun....

Both struts are out and ready for new springs.
Both tension rods are in and adjusted to length. I removed the old sway bar and installed the thicker bar along with new end links. I forgot how difficult it was to get the end links clamped down enough to put the nut on top.
The rear sway bar and struts should go much faster.

The rear suspension went much faster. Springs are out and the sway bar is in ready to be tightened down after I get the replacement springs installed.
I guess I'll work on the seats for a bit while I wait to see if my Tokicos arrive today.

----edit
Just called and the box has not arrived. So when they say delivery on the 18th they really mean it.
If you order from Shox.com, just be aware that UPS ground somehow takes 13 days for delivery from the day you order.

Arrow

Tokicos did not arrive to day so I cut these stock springs. 1.5 coils up front, 3.5 coils in the back! No more 4x4 Z
The suspension is back together and the car is on the ground... oh it looks good. It might not be quite this low with the Tokicos on.
