Wheels for Z

So... Ive noticed that we basically have no wheel options for our Zs since there are almost no more 0 offset wheels. Well Im not happy with the selection at MSA and I think the wheels there are a little overpriced (except for the Panasports) plus I really like alot of the newer performance wheels out now but they all have a positive offset! So I was wondering if there was anyway I can get Positive offset wheels to fit my S130. If anyone knows of any adapters can they tell me of them? Thanks

Nah, there's no such thing as what you're looking for...

The Search function is a beautiful thing...

This is my car with two different sets of FWD 17" wheels on it.

The search button is your friend.

And I did searched before, nothing helpful came up, dont worry I already know to search before asking my stupid questions. Damn didnt think it will kill you to answer one silly question

It wouldn't kill me, but nismo already answered it! My adaptors were custom made, but are exactly the same as the Modern Motorsports versions linked above. I get mine made for about half what they charge for them though

If you're willing to pay a pretty penny or two, Volk racing sells a few of their wheels in a 0 offset. I know you can get TE37's in a 0 offset. Sometimes a couple of the 240sx and AE86 guys will throw them up for sale. Konig sells their Rewinds in a 0 offset too. Other than that, you're stuck getting positive offset wheels.

Hey I just watched that for the first time tonight. I didn't even realize what I was watching til the end when it started talking about the O.C. My son was glued to it. And he's only 3 Now he's playing PS2. Kids got a knack for videogames.

Funny thing is the TE37s are the only modern wheel I had my eye on and really wished to have my Z! Glad to see a 0 offset exists but arnt they about $500 each? Where can I find the 0 offset ones?

It's the name of the game... There just aren't a ton of wheel options for the Z, unless you get wheel adapters. Then you can pick from 1 trillion Honduh wheels... which can be found in a few different offsets.

theres always going the custom route. i know that you can get HRE wheels in any offset you want.. its just going to cost you more. more being like $500 - $600 a wheel....

HRE and Volk = VERY EXPENSIVE.
There are a handful of Volks models that you can get in the proper lug and back spacing. None of them are inexpensive though

The contact info to get Volk wheels are from Mackin Industries.
http://www.mackinindustries.com/

Anyway, yeah I'd suggest hitting up 240sx forums or AE86 forums because they do sell them every now and then. The last set I saw was sold brand new for 1200 which is a fairly large discount.

15x8 zero offset fits fine front and back with room to spare. At one time I was looking into some 18x8 +30 and the 30mm adaptors let them fit just fine... but then I found some Simmons Racing wheels that require no adaptors. dishy goodness

a guy on Hybridz just got those wheels and posted some pics of his 280Z with them on. The ZX of course has even more fender depth

Look there, maybe they have info on how to order wheels. I got mine used. These are the ones I have. They only come in 16" diameter though.
