Well for some reason my original thread was deleted??? I am not a spammer!
But I will re-ask my question.
I just bought a 77 280z 2+2, it hasn't been ran in several years and the PO wasnt very sure of its condition. I bought it cheap enough that I am not worried about losing money on it. My question is this, If indeed this motor is bad, how hard would it be to swap a sbc 283 motor into it? I have a newly rebuilt 283 that I love. I personally love how the 283's run and how they perform. Thanks for any advice.
