240sx throtle body and injectors?

Hey, I want to do the same upgrade... from what i hear that is the one to use. I'm thinking an adapter is needed but a guy on ebay makes them and sells them for a decent price. I would like to know more before I do this so who has done it? Thanks for any help of info.

Yes you can and yes you will need the 1 inch spacer to make it work. You also need the 240 tps and the linkage has to be modified to work with the Z linkage. And also the OD of the tb is larger so your hose from the afm needs to be modified and to get the most from the upgrade you should match the port at the intake.

Actually, the upgraded throttle size alone isn't worth doing unless you do port match the intake manifold, swap to a larger AFM (turbo housing conversion) and get a bigger cam.
If all this is not done, then all you have is a more sensative toe-in throttle response but not really more power.

well, its arguable either way. Honestly, I've got the big throttle on my NA engine. I'm going back to stock for better drivability and throttle control.
When I go turbo, I'm leaving the factory throttle in place. I'm going to do some minor porting on the intake runners and port match the head. I think that will do a lot more for power than a throttle body upgrade. plus, I'm going for under 300hp.
The engine feels more peppy with the big throttle. Its hard to explain. Some people love it, and others like myself are happier with the smaller throttle body. If you port match the manifold to the throttle and do nothing else but maybe a K&N filter and new exhaust pipe, the larger throttle might be adding 2-5hp at peak rpm. Maybe...
One more important detail: you want only the 1989 and early 90 240SX throttle as those were found on the 12-valve KA24e. The 16-valve KA24De had a slightly different TPS setup and its not quite as bolt-on as the early throttle. Both are 60mm. Do some more research; you should find a lot on this related to the L28.
