Timing too far advanced and/or worn spark plugs.

What... Just replaced spark plugs 2,000 miles ago and timing is at 8 BTDC. Installed a rebuilt dizzy 4-5,000 miles ago as well. I did adjust the AFM 5 teeth CCW shortly after i bought the car because it was running rough at idle, could that be it?

Typically you don't need to adjust the AFM... are you tuning around a bad injector?

Well, when i bought the car i was told that it failed smog on the cars first drive in a year, and that smog tech did something to the the car which corrected the problem. It used to backfire often, and run rough which i replaced sensors here and there and adjusting the afm to the rich side which all corrected the problem. The AFM was being held together by a zip tie, so i knew someone had gone in there before and messed with it.

I just replaced the injectors/hoses/gaskets about 500 miles ago.
