air filters

has anyone here changed their air filter to the kind that have a cone type AIR RAID K&N type with the long down pipe that replaces the stock. and are the turbo and non turbo the same size of pipe coming out to the AFM ? I want to change my stock filter unit to something up to date. any pictures or were to buy will help. there are a couple on e-bay has anybody tried using these items on their car on e-bay 140134781438 this item ?

yep... try typing "COLD AIR INTAKE" or something like that in the SEARCH. Turbo intake is larger than n/a.

The ebay cold air intake is alright (its a single bent aluminum pipe, one bend, nothing fancy), but you will want a different filter than the POS that comes with it.

The non turbo and turbo are not the same size pipe, the turbo is larger...however you can get the non turbo cold air intake and just use a coupler that is the same size as the cold air intake and then gets slightly larger on the AFM side and you should be golden. Measure first to find out what size coupler you need....look at the pics...they are just representative pics.
