Can I put a P90 on a L24 (83 maxima)

Can I put a P90 head on a L24 (83 maxima)? can this be done. Right now I has a n47 on it Later on I want to put a L28 w/turbo engine my max. or even do a stroker engine up. I know where I can get an LD24 crank.
Cheers Brent

I believe the factory head on the L24 has very small closed chambers. The P90 will bolt on but will probably lower your compression a little.

Due to the strange oil pickup and front sump of the Maxima engine, I think building an L28 should be done using the factory block. Since the block height is the same all you have to do is put in the L28 crank and pistons, an then have the block bored to stock L28 size. (86mm?) Then use whatever head you want.
