can someone look at their starter for me???

hey all,

just got my motor in my car, and I didn't label my starter(everything else but that and the alternator). I thought for some reason I would remember how it hooked up after 6 months....
so could someone tell me where there ground wire or positive wire goes on the solinoid...

thanks,
Jason

If you are going to keep this car...go with the Factory Service Manual. Check the thread search for websites that have it. Courtesy Nissan in Texas has the FSM on CD rom.

There are only two wire that go to the starter/solenoid. One is the main battery cable (+) and the other is a smaller (I believe yellow) wire that uses a spade connector to connect to the solenoid. Hope that helps.

The negative battery cable grounds on the top bolt that is used to bolt the starter to the tranny.

Yep!! And the positive cable goes on the copper stud on the starter. Bolt it up, and go!
