Car sputtering around 2500 - 3000rpms and higher
I have an 83' 280zx 2+2 non turbo and i had to replace the ignition module because the car would just die while driving it. The car sat for a couple of months before i got the ignition module. I replaced it and ever since then once the engine gets up to its operation temp the car will start sputtering/skipping really bad around 2500rpm - 3000rpms and at all higher rpms as well. I have replace the TPS as well and it still does the same thing. When the engine is cool the car does not do this but it is a bit sluggish around 3000rpms and lower.
does anyone have any ideas or have had this problem before?

Welcome to ZDriver! Sounds like the common AFM problem... or just needs a good tune up. Lots of people have had this same issue & you can find lots of info on how to fix it by using the SEARCH.
Check out J's "How to rebuild your AFM" thread:
https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-280zxt-s30-s130-tech-tips-275/js-how-rebuild-your-afm-15277/
If you search & read through this section of the forum ( https://www.zdriver.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=79 ), you will find plenty of helpful info. We're here to help, but if it's been discussed before, it's always easier to point you there, than to type it all over again. Wahoo!!!
