It takes about 30 turns of the key jus to get the engine going and running and after it turns on it runs perfect... but my question now is that I replaced the ignition coil, starter,solinoid,cleaned the alternator wires, the positive/negative cables and checked everything with a multi-meter, but is ther any ground wires i need anywhere, because the starter does not have any grounds wires, just the positive cable, the wire from the tranny (inhibitor),and the wire from the solinoid to the starter itself.any comments..(thnxs in advance)

 

are you saying that the engin wont turn over when you turn the key.. or does the engine turn but wont start.. if it wont turn and you gotta keep turning your igniton switch then most likely its your ignition swith.. thats whats wrong with my car.. so i just wired a push putton start.. now no more problems.. but if your engine turns and just wont start.. then thats a whole other problem...

 

I was thinking of a push button starter too since my ignition switch is kinda wonky. Was it difficult to find and work with the wiring for it?

 

Yup, I had to replace mine too. Its not the tumblers but the part on the back of them that has a bad connection.

when i turn the key u can hear the gas pump on and when u turn the key to actually turn on the car it does nothin at all doesnt turn either (thnxs tho ICICE)

 

yup thats your ignition switch... same problem as mine...

NO! No new key.

 

You need to either clean the contacts on the ignition switch (the part the key goes into) or get a replacement.

 

well i got it fixed i just did it my self... i just rewired the ignition to a push button like ICICE9 (thnxs) and well it turns on like new
