Cat Converter

This might be a stupid question but i was wondering if there a cat on turbo exhausts. I was looking for it the other day but couldnt find it.

From the factory yes. It's under the far side (towards the rear of the car) of the transmission.

I don't get why people "GUT" cats... why not just make a test pipe to put in it's place? Then if you need your cat again sometime (for emissions), you don't have to buy another.

I Made It So I Can Put The Cat Right On The Back Where The Muffler Is Suppost To Be For Aircare Day. Hasnt Failed Me Yet. Just Take It Off When Im Done And Save It Till Next Year. If Anybody Wants To Know A Liitle Trick, Just Unplug #5 Injector And Turn That Cylinder Into An Air Pump. It Works Great.!! Screw Tree Huggers

thanks guys i plan on just cutting it out and putting a straight pipe there until i start my new exhaust.
