Clutch blew out
Bah, my clutch blew out on the interstate at 3am. Man that sucked, but atleast I had a cell phone and tripple A, and got it towed to the shop at 6am. Yeah, this isnt gonna be cheap but I was wondering about performance clutches, if its worth the extra money to get one like a centerforce or if It really isnt for me.

I don't know about performance clutches since I have never had one. But as far as being an expensive repair, you can do it yourself for the cost of the clutch. It is fairly simple and the only special tool you would need is a clutch alignment tool which you can get for about $3 at Auto Zone. Then, you can use the money you were going to use for the repair on that performance clutch!

yes preformance clutches are good but only if you require one...
i shot my clutch too and since i dont need a heavier clutch on my stock NA i just went with replacement clutch which is factory rating ...
yeah its easy to replace, me and a friend did it in a day....

Dude realy depends on what kind of driver you are, if you just cruz like normal people a stock is fine. But if you drive like me, have horsepower and like to get on it, then performance is a must.

Nah, I change gears HARD I am one of those speedfreaks always shifting and downshifting dropping it, but I think it maybe too much money for me atm, arent they like $200? My car doesnt have that much hp atm, just a bit more than stock hard to say exactly just that it can probably keep up with stock turbo 280s, and I dunno how the engage different, maybe i wouldnt like the feel as much as im used to the stock one for 4 years
