Clutch and Wheels

I was wondering what people prefer as in a clutch for an 83 280ZX Turbo with about 280HP. What do you guys recommend? Also how wide of a rim can you fit on a stock suspension on the same car? Can you fit a 10in. wide rim? Thanks.

The Rims Would Be A Very Very Tight Fit, A Stage 2 Clutch Would Work Fine

Whats the biggest size that someone has ever put on a stock suspension? Has ten inches ever been done before on a 280ZX with stock suspension? I'm looking to buy 275 drag radials for the track.

15x10 would probably fit but it would have to be close to -40 offset and you would need flares. Something like this

Honestly, I don't think you need drag radials that wide for 280hp.

I put 10 inch wide in the back. 16x10 zero offset. It wouldn't tuck though, almost... you would need some positive offset. +20 to +30 is a guess. There was quite a bit of room on the inside between the wheel and strut. Not much room between the inside rim and a-arm so 15 inch is not a good idea. 16 or 17 is best.
In the front I've heard 8.5 inch wide is the widest with some positive offset to bring the wheel in a little. How much exactly I do not know.
