81 turbo not firing i think i need a ecu coil is hot but no fire .have spark checker in the coil after dark and it does fire but not enough to fire out of the coil wire real weak i can hold the other end in my hand while turning the car over until you turn the switch off then it shocks the carp out of you help please love this car

it shocked you when you shut the ignition off? Was the ignition (spark) pulsing while you were cranking? If not then I'd check to make sure your CAS is sending a clean signal and also check your Ignition Control module. The reason you got shocked is because the magnetic field in the coil collapsed when you shut off power to the ignition. This collapse is what sends the massive voltage surge to the spark plugs. The coil simply magnifies this surge. Normally the CAS and ICM cause this collapse everytime a cylinder fires. It sounds like yours is not doing this. It sounds like the power is constant instead of pulsing on/off like it should except when you actually kill power to the coil.

ive replaced the cas twice not cheap.i also relaced the module on the coil also not cheap i love the car but i cant afford to keep replacing parts i just bought a whole parts car to restore mine guess which parts arent there <all electrical> i had it idling in the yard and it died hasnt fired since.....................FOR SALE.................MAYBE

Coil

Found Out Hit A Ground Wire To The Coil Causes It To Fire Only When Ground Touches Does Coil Fire But Wont Pulse Just One Spark

check for faulty grounds and connectors between those parts and also at the ECU, and...well throughout the entire ignition system. Is the CAS properly aligned?

I was woundering about the integrity of the wires to power your primary side. have you checked resistance and all?
