dies ? looses spark when fully warmed up?

im begining to snap... i have changed out alot of the old parts for new parts in my 1982 280zxt 2+2 i have noticed when the climate is cold the car runs fine... but now its summer time the car will start fine run fine for about and hour then... yam... dead in the water wont start no spark ... ? i have checked the coil checked the tiny resistor on the side of the coil checked all ground wires... what am i overlooking that could cause this to happen ? could it be the COLD START VALVE ?

What "tiny resistor" on the side of the coil? The black two pronged ignitor?

That black box on the coil bracket would be your ignition module, which may very well be your problem. As when they go bad, they tend to cause problems after the car has warmed up. Probably why it wasn't so bad when it was cold.

Or a junk yard. Like Duowing said, that's usually the prob when the car is warm & won't start. Check the voltage on it when the car won't start.

$100 doesn't sound too bad. I think I got mine from rockauto. It's about $130.
